1point4billion
1.4 billion people are living in poverty across the globe. And as a result of the current economic crisis, their number is increasing. Nonetheless, the debate on development cooperation no longer centres on how to eradicate poverty, but rather on by how much we can cut the development cooperation budget. Is it acceptable to sacrifice the poorest of the poor?
1point4billion is a campaign by ICCO, lokaalmondiaal and Coolpolitics that calls for a new conceptual debate on the future of development cooperation.
